Suspect Arrested For Sexual Abuse

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division have arrested and charged Robert Eugene Felton, Jr., age 60, of the 11300 block of Classical Lane in Silver Spring, with one count of sexual abuse of a minor and one count of third-degree sexual offense that occurred in the suspect’s home in Silver Spring.

On February 2, 2009, detectives began an investigation into an allegation that approximately three years ago, when the female victim was 9 years old, the suspect engaged in sexual contact with her while she was attending an after-school tutoring program being administered out of the suspect’s residence.
