A man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing a woman to death Thursday afternoon in the parking garage of The Promenade mall in Temecula.
A Riverside County sheriff's sergeant was patrolling the shopping center at 40820 Winchester Road at about 1 p.m. when he saw the man stabbing a woman inside a parked minivan. The sergeant ordered the suspect out, but he did not comply.
