Violence Against Women and Children News Central: Local business man charged with wife's murder

Local business man charged with wife's murder

Police say that 44-year-old Muzzammil Hassan came to the police station at approximately 6:20 p.m. Thursday and said that his wife was dead.

Hassan told police that his wife, 37-year-old Aasiya Hassan, was at their business, Bridges TV on Thorne Avenue.

Officers responded to the business and found his wife inside.

Muzzammil Hassan was arrested and charged with murder in the second degree.

He was arraigned today by Judge Chimes and taken to the Erie County Holding Center...
