Former school bus driver Alan A. Hamann admitted in Wyoming County Court Tuesday that he attempted to molest a Warsaw Central student on his bus.
Hamann, 64, of Gainesville, as part of a plea agreement reached by the attorneys in the case, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree attempted sexual abuse of a girl less than 11 years old. The charge is a Class E felony.
Hamann, answering questions from Wyoming County Judge Michael F. Griffith, said "I plead guilty" to attempted sexual abuse for his own gratification, for an incident that occurred in the period between September 2007 and April 2008.
