A former U.S. Customs and Border Protection port director has confessed shooting his wife to death, police said Wednesday morning.
Joseph Mongiello III, 48, called emergency responders at 11:06 p.m. Tuesday after a domestic disturbance at his home at 2015 Fair Oaks Drive, police said.
When officers arrived, they found Mongiello's wife, 45-year-old Lindsay Tall, wounded several times on the upper part of her chest, said Martin Garza, assistant chief of the Mission Police Department. Justice of the Peace Luis Garza later pronounced her dead at the scene...
