A 34-year-old Cicero man serving a sentence for robbery was charged today with raping a Chicago woman at knifepoint two years ago while pretending to be a police officer.
George Carlos arrived to pick the 30-year-old victim up at her Northwest Side residence for a lunch date, Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney Teresa Molina said. When she refused to have sex with him, he pretended to be on a police radio talking to other officers, Molina said.
Armed with a knife, Carlos told the woman she could either have sex with him or go to jail, Molina said...
