A Joliet man accused of fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend was ordered held in lieu of $5 million bail by a Will County judge Friday.
Jeramy J. Green, 23, of the 1800 block of Ashbury Circle Drive is charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Assistant State's Atty. Michael Casson said that Green admitted to stabbing Brittany Brooks, 21, of Joliet, Wednesday night while they quarreled in her car.
